Five Weeks with #3

I am sure this is already common news but I needed to document for the blog: I am 5 weeks pregnant today with our third baby. It is all very exciting and at the same time so much more mellow than my previous two pregnancies. With Augie I was bouncing off the walls and could not stop talking about it, with Nash I felt really nervous and could not stop talking about it, but with this pregnancy I just feel pretty peaceful. I feel like we know what to expect out of a newborn (for the most part) and the main thing is to just cherish the small moments and keep on trudging through the hard ones. Augie is *very* excited to have another baby and Nash doesn't understand yet. Another reason that this pregnancy feels more peaceful and resolved is that I feel determined to be healthy and make good decisions. I started at about 10 lbs heavier than the previous two, so that makes me feel more determined to not eat fries and breakfast tacos every day and try and walk daily. Simple things, but it helps me feel in control. There will be no 5 week photo because there is nothing much to look at but a little pre-existing pudge, but maybe I will start those at 9 weeks after my first appointment.

Stats:

Weeks- 5 weeks today
Wt Gain- Hopefully non for a long while.
Sleep- My back seems to hurt when I am asleep and of course sometimes Nash wakes up before 6 but otherwise fine.
Moods- Peaceful, tired, and maybe some occasional "cut the B.S!"
Looking Forward To- Learning the gender. I can honestly say I will be ecstatic about either but I can't wait to know!
Milestones- Augie being old enough to understand and LOVE the thought of a new life.

Stop here if you don't want lady details.

TMI Corner- This pregnancy has been different than my other two in a physical way. Even though it is early, I have had way different symptoms. By now I would have at least some food aversions (I have none) and the strangest thing is that leading up to finding out I was pregnant, my chest hurt for TWO WEEKS. That literally never happens to me. Not with babies and not with AF. Also, my back hurts and I have cramps at night, which also never happened in early pregnancy before. It feels like my stomach doesn't have enough room already, which is super strange since A) I have had TWO kids stretch it out and B)I am not constipated so there should be plenty of room. I am sort of enjoying the novelty...sort of.

Weeks 43, 44, 45, 46 and 47

I have been such a slacker lately, and I feel so lame about it. Not only have I neglected to post the last 5 weeks images, but I also totally dropped the ball on even taking the last two weeks shots! I blame it on the move. That being said, I solemnly swear to get images for 50, 51, and 52 and then promptly put together his video! Let's be honest-- missing a photo or two from the past month isn't the worst timing because he is changing more slowly with age. On the agenda for this week: a shot of him walking, then a shot of him in the new home, and then finally a shot of his cake smash.

Nash's 9 month checkup was today, and he was 25#12oz, which is the 97th%, and he was 30.75in, which is the 98th%. Big little man.

Week 38

3.10.15

This week Augie and Nash both had colds and we spent a lot of time cuddling, wiping noses, cranking up the humidifier and eating take out. Also, Nash tries to bite any flesh he can get his teeth near.

Week 37

2.28.15

It was my 29th birthday weekend and we took a visit to Moo and Baba's house. As of now you cane "say" "Clap, Clap, Clap", "Mama", and "Bye Bye". Also, you have two teeth out on bottom, and three and a nub out on top!

Week 36 and First Word

2.25.15

This week you surprised me with your first words. We always tell you to "clap, clap, clap!" and you do, but this time you repeated the words, too!

Week 35

2.17.15

All four top teeth are almost in this week. You are such a fast mover and we are constantly having to scoop you out of the bathroom or out from under tables. You like to stand, holding on with only one hand and when you let go and fall you seem bewildered and angry, and repeat the process. I am very interested to see when you walk. We are still living in this apartment and I have frequent daydreams of how nice it will be to finally get into a house and watch my two crazy boys run around the yard while I sip a cup of coffee on the porch. I love you.

Wee 34

2.15.15

This week Nash has been sprouting THREE new teeth on top, all at once. Very sleepless nights for me, but at least he will look really cute waking me up all night in these matching jams.

Week 33

2.6.15

Today you fell out of the laundry basket and busted your poor little top lip. There was a lot of blood but once it stopped you just had two little cut from your bottom teeth, I think.

Week 32

1.28.15

We discovered a really great new park today that we will for sure return to. You were very patient, watching your brother run and play. Such good weather and such a good baby.

Week 31

1.23.15

I heard giggling from both of them and came to find this. Oh, brudders. I am so pleased with how much you guys love each other. Since Nash can sit up and hang out now, you guys just sit and play with toys together so well!

Week 30

1.15.15

Stringy little hairs, flowin' in the breeze.

Week 29

1.9.15

Lately you have gotten really close to crawling and have fallen flat on your nose a few times. You and your brother *love* to be together and he can make you laugh like no one else. The past few nights you have started going to sleep and waking up later (7ish pm to 7ish am) and I am loving it. Keep up the good work, Nashy.

Week 28-- First Teeth!

1.2.15

On Christmas morning Nash woke up with TWO teeth. Ever since these puppies popped out it has been a whole different (better) ballgame putting him to bed at night and getting him to sleep in his crib. Perhaps he had a month long toothache? Poor dude.
